YO! I’M DAVE…

I’M A CREATIVE DIRECTOR HERE IN LONDON AND LUCKY ENOUGH TO WORK WITH SOME SUPER exciting partners (nike, sony, breitling to name a few). OUR WORK CAME TO A COMPLETE STAND STILL due TO COvid-19, which MEANT I HAD TIME TO BUILD AN IDEA I’VE HAD FOR a while - collab studio.

WORKING IN DESIGN & FILM FOR OVER 15 YEARS, I HAVE SEEN THE growing NEED FOR NEW AND EXCITING CONTENT. the more briefs that appear, the quicker they need to be delivered. if you are anything like me, our TOP PRIORITY IS always TO CREATE EXCELLENT WORK NO MATTER the timescale!

there never seems to be enough time (OR BUDGET) TO BRING IN AN EXPERT TO HELP. sometimes you have to learn new techniques and that takes time - I WOULD STAY UP ALL NIGHT TO TRY AND DO IT MYSELF!

WHY DID I SETUP COLLAB?

I BELIEVE IN COLLABORATION.

Collaborating with an expert will help you create an excellent piece of work.

Unfortunately, this can sometimes be expensive or, if you don’t have the network, takes time to form reliable relationships.

We are building a community of industry experts, producing assets for you; presets, templates, artwork, textures - you name it. You can collaborate with someone who you respect and admire, someone that you may not of been able to work with otherwise.

TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE.

Over the last 10 years we have come to understand the importance of time during the post-production stages of any project. In a world where social content is created at such a fast pace we have seen so many edits (even from big agencies) lacking the quality it deserves. Sometimes it is out of our hands, we have personally had edits fast tracked to completion by a client when it wasn’t anywhere near completion - that is just how it is!

If you are anything like us, the work you create has to be sh*t hot, no matter when the deadline is. There never seems to be enough time in the day. There is also not often enough budget to bring in an expert to work with you on those finishing touches. This is why we wanted to start COLLAB Studio.
